Yes, if you are interested in a specific item, you can request a video call to view the item in detail. The seller will deliver the item to Buy Gown, and our team will facilitate a video call to show you the item.

The SECURE RETURN TAG is a highly-visible tag that wraps around purchased items, allowing the buyer to inspect the merchandise at home while remaining eligible to return it in accordance with our Return Policy. Damaging the SECURE RETURN TAG in any way makes the item ineligible for return.
To return eligible items, you must request a return within seven (7) days after the delivery date and return the item(s) within fourteen (14) days after the delivery date. Only items in original condition—undamaged, with undamaged Secure Return Tags, unworn, without any odor, unwashed, with all tags, and in the original packaging—are eligible for return. Yes, all sales for items on sale are final. No returns or exchanges will be accepted for discounted items.

Yes, once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your order on the carrier’s website.
Shipping times vary depending on the seller’s location and the shipping method chosen at checkout. Typically, items ship within five (5) to seven (7) business days. Estimated delivery times are provided during the checkout process.

SELLING FAQ
In the Basic Sales Package, the Seller creates their own listing on the Buy Gown website. Once the item is sold, the Seller ships it to Buy Gown for a final inspection to ensure it meets the description and condition before it is sent to the Buyer. After the item is sold, the Seller receives 75% of the total commission.
The Basic Package requires a payment of NON-REFUNDABLE $7 per item at the time of listing submission, plus a 25% transaction fee upon sale.
Currently, the following items can be sold (SELLER GUARANTEES THAT EACH ITEM IS AUTHENTIC):
• Branded new or pre-loved wedding and evening gowns with a retail price of $1,500 and above.
• Branded new or pre-loved kids' dresses with a retail price of $1,000 and above.
• Branded new or pre-loved bridal capes with a retail price of $1,000 and above.
• Branded custom-made gowns by high-end emerging designers with a retail price of $1,500 or more.
Items must be in pristine condition: absolutely neat, clean, with functioning zippers (if applicable), and free from any damage or odors.
Create your own listing on the BUY GOWN Basic Package page! Fill out the form with your name, phone number, and email address. Click on the 'Add Gown' button and complete the fields to create a listing for your gown. If you do not wish to add the gown, simply click the 'Remove Gown' button. Once you have completed your listing, read and accept our Terms of Service by checking the checkbox, and then click on the 'Submit Listing' button. After clicking 'Submit Listing', you will be directed to the payment page where you pay non-refundable $7 for each item listed.
BUY GOWN team reviews your listing. Upon examination and approval, your item is added to the catalog under the "Listings by Sellers" category. If the item does not meet eligibility, the Seller will receive a refund of the $7 fee within 14 working days.
At BASIC SALES PACKAGE the selling price is at the discretion of the Sellers. However, to sell items more quickly, we advise the following price range:
• Brand new with tags: 60% of retail price
• Brand new without tags: 50% of retail price
• Pre-loved in perfect condition: 35% of retail price
• Pre-loved in medium condition: 25% of retail price
No, you retain the item until it is purchased by a buyer. Once the payment clears, we will notify you, and you must ship the item within 3 business days.
We create a shipment label, and you ship the item(s) to us for final inspection to ensure it meets the description, condition, and authenticity. If it passes the inspection, we professionally pack it and ship it to the buyer within 3 business days. If the inspection cannot determine that the item is authentic, or if the item is not as described in the listing, the item will be returned to you within 7 business days and the buyer will receive their money back.
Our Authenticity Verification Department conducts a thorough examination of each item to confirm its authenticity. This includes:
• Inspecting the fabric quality and composition.
• Checking the stitching and construction for consistency with the brand’s standards.
• Verifying the authenticity of logos, labels, and tags.
• Examining the hardware, such as zippers and buttons, to ensure they match the brand’s specifications.
• Comparing the gown to the description and photos provided by the seller to ensure accuracy.
Yes. If two or more items listed by the Seller do not meet the description or their authenticity cannot be established, BUY GOWN reserves the right to suspend the seller's account.

SECURE RETURN TAG: The SECURE RETURN TAG is a highly-visible tag that wraps around purchased items, prohibiting a buyer to use the item(s) in public. Damaging the SECURE RETURN TAG in any way makes the item ineligible for return.
Strict Return Policy: We have a strict return policy that discourages misuse. Items must be returned in the same condition as when they were shipped, with all tags and packaging intact.
Thorough Inspections: Each returned item undergoes a thorough inspection by our team to ensure it has not been worn or damaged. If an item shows signs of use, the return will be rejected, and the buyer will be responsible for any discrepancies.
Documentation and Photographs: We document and photograph each item meticulously before shipping to Buyer. These records are used to compare the condition of returned items and identify any inconsistencies.
Buyer Verification: Whenever possible we implement buyer verification processes to minimize the risk of fraudulent returns and ensure that only legitimate buyers purchase items.
We provide a FedEx or UPS Ground label.
Yes, the shipment is insured.
You keep 70% of the total profit.

The New Yorker Package requires a NON-REFUNDABLE fee of $65, payable at the time of listing submission plus a 25% transaction fee upon sale.

• The sales price can be reduced based on an agreement between the Seller and Buy Gown for an amount mutually decided upon to facilitate the sale.

Yes, once the listing is created, you repossess the item(s) within 3 days after notice and keep it until it is sold.
After the sale, you must deliver the item(s) within 3 days to a BUY GOWN drop-off location for our final inspection. We will ensure that the item meets the description, condition, and authenticity. When it passes, we professionally pack and ship it to the buyer within 3 business days. If authenticity cannot be verified, or the item does not match the listing description, it will be returned to you within 7 business days. The $65 fee is non-refundable.

The Consignment Package requires a NON-REFUNDABLE fee of $100, payable at the time of listing submission plus a 25% transaction fee upon sale.
The Consignment Package includes all the benefits of the New Yorker Package, plus additional services:
• Listing on Third-Party Marketplaces: We upload your listing on various third-party marketplaces to maximize exposure and increase sales chances.
• Physical Display at Trusted Retailers: Your item will be displayed at one of our trusted retail partners, making it physically available for purchase by customers.
• Item Possession: We take possession of your item throughout the entire sales process to ensure its security and proper handling.

The BUY GOWN DIRECT package allows sellers to sell their items directly to BUY GOWN. This means that instead of waiting for a buyer, BUY GOWN will purchase your item outright, providing you with a faster and more convenient selling experience.
The BUY GOWN DIRECT package is distinct in that we accept items in a wide range of conditions, from pristine to those with minor damages. This flexibility allows sellers to sell items that may not meet the criteria for other packages, offering a convenient and inclusive selling option.
After you submit your item for review, our team will evaluate its condition, brand, and market value within 7 business days after receiving the item. If your item meets our criteria, we will make you an offer. Once you accept the offer, the sale is final, and you will receive payment directly from BUY GOWN within 7 business days.
Here is the more detailed process:
- Submission of Pictures and Description
The Seller must first submit detailed pictures and a description of the item to the BUY GOWN for initial review. This submission should include images that clearly show the item's condition, brand labels, and any unique features.
- Initial Review
Upon receiving the pictures and description, the BUY GOWN will conduct an initial review to assess whether the item appears to meet the basic criteria for the BUY GOWN DIRECT package.
- Request for Physical Submission
If the item passes the initial review, the Seller will be instructed to ship the item to the BUY GOWN for a more thorough evaluation. The BUY GOWN will provide a prepaid shipping label for this purpose.
- Evaluation of Condition, Brand, and Market Value
Upon receipt of the physical item, the BUY GOWN will conduct a detailed evaluation of its condition, brand, and market value within 7 business days. This evaluation includes inspecting the item for authenticity, quality, and overall suitability for purchase under the BUY GOWN DIRECT package.
- Purchase Criteria Determination
Based on the evaluation, the BUY GOWN will determine whether the item meets the criteria for purchase.
- Offer and Acceptance
If the BUY GOWN decides to purchase the item, an offer will be made to the Seller. This offer is based on the evaluation conducted by the BUY GOWN and reflects the current market value of the item. The offer is non-negotiable and remains valid for a period of 7 business days. Once the Seller accepts the offer, the sale is final, and ownership of the item transfers to the BUY GOWN.
- Return of Items
If the Seller declines the offer made by the BUY GOWN, or if the item is rejected by the BUY GOWN, the item will be returned to the Seller at no additional cost within 7 business days.
- Payment
Payment to the Seller will be processed within 7 business days after the BUY GOWN has received and verified the item. Payments will be made via the payment method selected by the Seller at the time of agreement.
Yes! Once the Seller accepts the offer and the transaction (payment) is completed, the sale is final. No returns or exchanges will be accepted.

If you decline the offer, you can choose to have your item returned to you at no cost, or you can explore other selling options on our platform, such as our consignment or traditional sales packages.
Yes, once you accept the offer from BUY GOWN DIRECT and the transaction is completed, the sale is final. No returns or exchanges will be accepted.
